If you fancy the waterproofness and uniquely experienced look of classic, traditional 100% English waxed cotton gear but demand modern venting, TF3 or TF6 technical armor and Scotchlite™ reflective areas, a Falstaff ought to do it.
Its authentic English waxed cotton is exactly the same fabric proven in traditional British outdoor and rider’s gear. Rugged 8.25 ounce fabric, made the same way for over 170 years, with proven resistance to inclement weather, while the cotton fibers allow it to breathe. It is highly durable, exceptionally comfortable and proven by generations of riders, outdoorsmen and commercial fisherman (wearing oilskins) in the harshest conditions. As the fabric ages it also develops a well-worn and comfortable patina, telling your unique story of every mile ridden.
The Falstaff features a rich plaid cotton lining, with two huge inside pockets, a soft Ultrasuede faced collar, and an oversized cargo pocket behind the back vent reflective flap.
In hot weather it wears more comfortably than the British jackets because of its generous dual slider zippered underarm and back vents. And the Aerostich TF3 or TF6 impact armor provides crash performance far beyond what the 'olde-blighty' gear offered. Cleans with a damp sponge.
The abrasion resistance of waxed cotton (when compared to the Darien's 500 Denier Cordura) is better than you'd think. Black, Brown, Orange, or Green. 36–54. Choose TF3 or TF6 armor. Made in America
Motorcycle tradition combines with modern performance in fully-lined 100% waxed cotton Falstaff Pants. The authentic fabric is highly durable, exceptionally comfortable and offers 'oilskin' waterproofness to keep you dry. Rugged 8.25 ounce fabric, made the same way for over 170 years, with proven resistance to inclement weather, while the cotton fibers allow it to breathe. As the fabric ages it also develops a well-worn and comfortable patina, telling your unique story of every mile ridden.
Featuring a jeans-cut fit, these overpants include a plaid cotton lining, matching the Falstaff Jacket. The two front pockets have hook and loop secured cover flaps and the single back pocket sports a strip of hook and loop to keep contents in place.
A flapped front fly and adjustable waistband, with an included Aerostich Money Belt (#1854), combine with a gusseted crotch for long-wearing comfort. Full length side zips with inner and outer flaps insure easy on-and-off convenience and severe weather protection.
Other features include bent knees for greater freedom of movement and large 3M Scotchlite™ reflective ankle adjustment tabs. Shaped, removable TF3 or TF6 knee pads offer excellent crash protection. The century-plus performance of traditional waxed cotton riders clothing speaks volumes about the functional durability of these pants. Brown or Black. Add or shorten sleeves by up to 5".
Add or shorten pant legs by up to 5". Above or below knee seam.
All standard suit sleeves are optimized for most riding positions. This alteration adds comfort for low handlebar riding positions (like GSXR, YZF, etc.).
Available for Darien, AD1 and RC pants. AKA "Gail's Gusset", the panel starts 2" below the waist seam, following through the hip, and ending just below the seat. Provides more ease and comfort in the seated position than the regular straight-leg cut of the standard pattern. Up to 2" each side.
A simple back-to-back tape, hook on one side, loop on the other, laminated together into an infinitely useful strip. Like double stick tape, when you wrap it around something and then back on itself, it sticks, and also un-sticks and re-sticks over and over. Retains ample shear strength. Could you find a use for this stuff? Thought so. Can be easily cut to different widths and lengths without unraveling. Wonderful for securing radar/gps type things to mounting brackets and for strapping down wires and cables as a re-usable zip tie, but thousands of other uses, too. Features HTH 888 and 889 types, with the world famous style 22 hook. Two kinds (both black, both 1""×36""): Standard is thinner and more flexible (but slightly less strength), or Heavyweight is thicker, bulkier (but stiffer/stronger) for bigger and heavier stuff.
Added circumference for the hip area. Add 1.5" - 2" on each side at the jacket hem. Jackets only.
Add or shorten sleeves by up to 2.5".
Add 1" to each side of the knee circumference.

Waxed cotton provides extreme all-weather performance over any distance and to every destination. Large underarm vent zips, a two-way zippered back vent and an adjustable dual height collar allow huge airflow on warmer days and when zipped up with a thermal layer underneath a CJ will keep you warm and protected even in the coolest riding weather.
Nine outer and one inner pocket allow ample storage and organization for your EDC items, including a extra-large zippered cargo pocket on the right chest with a hidden supernyl stash pocket just inside for quick access to cash, cards, or your phone. There’s also a zippered pocket on the right forearm for change, keys or earplugs. Large lower cargo pockets feature fold-over flaps for all weather secure stowage.
The rain flaps covering the back airflow vent and front logo pocket are the same fabric as the jacket body, but for riders wanting additional nighttime visibility, these flaps are available on special order with 3M Scotchlight® Reflective material instead.

Now this time-tested fabric is combined with the advanced technology, innovative design of the Roadcrafter one piece suit to create a highly protective, incredibly comfortable and completely authentic one piece Cousin Jeremy riding suit.

Periodically re-waxing your suit will extend the long-life usefulness of this highly functional riding tool as well as maintaining maximum waterproofness in severe riding conditions. The R-3 (Roadcrafter 3) is the third-generation one-piece Aerostich suit. It is 100% waterproof and unlined for maximum airflow, yet slips quickly and easily over your street clothes. Its full-length waterproof zipper entry system is fast, and it doesn’t flutter or flap in the wind. Without a lining, it wears cooler, and with seam-sealed rainproof zippers, you’ll also stay completely dry, even during the wettest conditions.
Each R-3 takes more than an hour longer to manufacture than previous Roadcrafters, but it’s worth it. You’ll enjoy higher levels of performance, comfort, and protection on every ride. And like its predecessor Roadcrafters, the R-3 is constructed of Aerostich’s exclusive mil-spec 500d TLTex® fabric. It’s a strong, long-lasting and highly abrasion-resistant material ideal for this use.
For increased protection, there’s a double layer of this fabric across the seat and 1000d abrasion-resistant layers covering the vital elbow/shoulder/knee areas. Beneath each of these is a superior energy-absorbing system utilizing removable, oversized TF impact armor. Each armor attachment point is adjustable to allow fit to be fine-tuned for comfort and ensure it stays in place for best protection. Separately available hip, spine and chest armor options further increase the R-3’s capabilities.
With its oversized two-slider underarm vents, a two-slider back vent, and magnetic clasps to hold open the fold-down dual-height collar, you ride both cool and protected. As temps drop and when precipitation comes you’ll remain cozy and dry, too, because the adjustable Ultrasuede collar fits comfortably around your neck, even with varying base layers.
Additional features include flap-covered hip-side water-resistant zippers for fast access to your street pants, a hidden pass-thru port for an electric liner power cord, nine strategically placed everyday-useful pockets, a mini-carabiner helmet holder at the upper chest pocket, a highly water-resistant inner wallet/phone/iPod pocket, fit-adjustable ankle and wrist tabs, articulated knees, fit-adjustable waist tabs and an integrated stretch panel across the lower back. There are also oversized 3M Scotchlite® reflective areas across the back, chest, and ankles to enhance conspicuity in low-light conditions.
Over 30 standard color combinations give each R-3 a personalized style, and add-on options include Integrated Boot Raincovers, electrically heated and non-heated Chest Insulation and Impact Pads, an Emergency Medical Info Pocket, and detachable arm and thigh Map and Accessory Pockets.
